At STRIDE, we worked with businesses across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to help shape new ideas, test them, and bring them to market. Whether building something from scratch or refining a product, we provided practical, hands-on support that fitted around businesses.
Delivered by the University of Plymouth and funded through the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Shared Prosperity Fund, STRIDE offered tailored innovation support designed to meet the needs of businesses. That might mean research, branding, product design, technical input, or simply getting headspace to talk things through with someone who understood.
We worked alongside businesses, helping find the clearest, most direct route from idea to outcome. Whether a solo founder, a small team, or a growing company, we helped explore opportunities, unlock funding, and move businesses forward.

Our in-house crew of specialist designers, marketers, strategists and researchers were on hand to help. Whether it was CAD modelling, market insight, or just getting a second pair of eyes on your idea, the STRIDE team brought a range of skills to every business we worked with.
Events
Our events were designed to be useful as well as interesting. Broken down into themes, every event was about giving businesses practical tips and advice they could act on. We brought in local experts, offered a chance to network with other businesses, and always made room for proper conversations. From masterclasses, roundtables, and our flagship Innovation Exchanges - we wanted businesses to leave with something that was worth your time.
